Vision Path started with a simple idea to help my grandmother walk safely and confidently. Watching her struggle with a regular walker made me want to create something better, a design that offers real support and independence. What began as a way to help one person has grown into a mission to give the elderly and visually impaired more freedom through smart, thoughtful technology.
Our goal is to bring independence and safety to people who need it most. We believe assistive technology should feel natural, human, and empowering, not intimidating. Vision Path is creating a future where age or disability never limits a person’s ability to move freely.
The Vision Path smart walker uses AI vision, sensors, and vibration feedback to detect obstacles and guide users safely. Designed with real-world needs in mind, our technology blends robotics and empathy to make mobility easier, safer, and more connected.
Vision Path is led by three passionate first-year students from Ritsumeikan University who share one mission: to build technology that empowers people to live more freely.
